Mrs. Kathleen Molner, the principal of The Assumption School, was awarded the
 Distinguished Catholic Elementary School Principal Award for 2006-2007 by the Archdiocese of Hartford.
Also, she was awarded the Dr. Robert J. Kealey Distinguished Principal Award for 2007 by the National Catholic Education Association.
